I am a self-motivated, outgoing, and hardworking young professional with a proven record of success in business development and analysis, with a recently achieved Bilingual Honors B.A. degree in Business Economics. Previously, I worked in the Ontario real estate market on high-value commercial projects worth up to seven million dollars. I would welcome the opportunity to contribute my skills to a workplace where I can learn, grow, and advance professionally.
My professional background demonstrates sound experience in analysis and the capacity to synthesize complex financial data, as well as the ability to work independently on major business development projects. Through my work on commercial real-estate I gained experience in issue and relationship management and was able to successfully use those skills on 5 separate commercial projects in the private sector. I also demonstrated essential skills in the efficient allocation of time, independent work, use of deductive reasoning, and collaboration with a wide variety of professionals, including financial and legal streams of works. In a number of instances where I developed commercial property, I worked with up to 6 joint teams of professionals, including the site supervisor, engineers, architects, and electricians.
I have also had the opportunity to work as an inventory controller for FernBrook Spring Water. In this position I demonstrated skills in efficient allocation of many resources including inventory, time, and labor to achieve set goals and shipping deadlines. A specific project I worked closely on was the integration of an inventory control system which was linked through a network from the front office to the production area. This allowed the company to save over 10% on labor costs as well as increase overall production efficiency by 15%.
Another important part of my skill-set is that I have studied in the French language for several years and am comfortable to use it on a daily basis. I would look forward to an opportunity to present myself in person.
